Industrial and business photography for Hunter Valley engineering firm

Professional business photography for Singleton based, Morgan Engineering.

Morgan Engineering required polished and refreshed visuals for their brand, so they reached out to us for our industrial and business photography services.

Our brief was to capture portrait shots of the team, in-action video and imagery for their day-in-the-life content and professional drone photography of their industrial office space.

We’ve worked with the client numerous times before, but this time we used the opportunity to capture content reflective of their team, business growth and service capabilities.

High volume business photography made easy – capturing large teams in a consistent way

One of the immediate challenges of this business photography shoot was the number of people we needed to shoot. Morgan Engineering has a team of over 100 staff, all of whom needed to be pulled together for wider business photography.

During preparation for the shoot, we ensured that we had a comprehensive understanding of the brief to help us effectively manage people and requirements on the day. This is something we do regularly, so it was natural for us to bring large groups of people together and work our magic ensuring everyone was actively involved in the process.

Attention to detail was particularly critical in this environment, as ensuring correct safety gear use was worn and showcased in all photography was paramount to the success of the visuals created.

Capturing diverse content for multiple purposes to enrich a brand’s story

We ensured all bases were covered in the content captured on the day. We moved throughout Morgan Engineering’s different workshops to capture headshots, group shots, on-the-job imagery and to video day-in-the-life content for their website, digital advertising, social platforms, recruitment campaigns and more.

This was captured in both vertical and horizontal format to give the client versatility when it comes to the use of their photography and videos in marketing material.

Whilst our main priority during this project was capturing the corporate and industrial activities of the team, we also took the opportunity to capture drone footage of the team and of the warehouse space. Our state-of-the-art technology allows us to capture 360-degree footage, which helps to emphasise the size of the projects that our clients work on, as well as the size of their team.

“The Firebug team wrangled everyone to ensure that the correct people were in the shoot. They worked well with Guy, who was helping to project manage the shoot. The result is a suite of video and photo content which reflects who we are and our brand, and which will be effective for our future marketing endeavours,” Jeremy Brett, General Manager from Morgan Engineering shared.

Why is business photography vital for any brand?

This was a great job for us as it showcased several of our core service lines: video, corporate photography and professional drone photography. It is testament to our business’ ability to work with businesses in a range of industries and no matter the size.

Our particularly capabilities and specialities in the industrial, construction and infrastructure industries ensures we deliver a strong attention to detail to aspects critical in a worksite environment, such as on-site safety.

“Firebug Photography is our long-term trusted partner for photography. We trust their eye and that he knows our brand like the back of his hand, he just gets it. He knows what shots are needed and who should be in them. It ensures a great outcome from the shoot and for our business,” Jeremy said.
